How to Reach Kheerganga from Kasol?
Trekking Route: Kasol to Kheerganga:
- The trek from Kasol to Kheerganga covers approximately 12 kilometers and typically takes 4-6 hours to complete, depending on your pace and fitness level.
- The route involves the following starting points:
- Barshaini (Barsheni): This is where the trek officially begins. You can reach Barshaini by booking a cab or taking a bus from Kasol. The distance between Kasol and Barshaini bus stand is 17 kilometers.
- Kalga and Tosh are also alternate starting points for the trek.
- Most of the trek is straightforward, but there are some challenging sections with steep stairs, slippery paths, and precipices.
- Along the way, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding forests and the Parvati River.
Return Journey:
- After enjoying the serene beauty of Kheerganga, you can retrace your steps back to Kasol via the same trekking route.
