Night curfew is imposed in all districts of Himachal Pradesh. The decision was taken by the CM of HP after the cabinet meeting.

Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Jairam Thakur after cabinet meeting decided to implement a night curfew initially from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM in 4 districts of Himachal Pradesh. The districts are Kullu, Mandi, Shimla, and Kangra. The curfew started from 5th-JAN-2022. .
Directions to follow:
1. "No Mask-No Service" policy will remain operational in the State.
2. There shall be Night Curfew in the State from 10PM to 5AM.
3. In all indoor/covered areas and open spaces including marriage palaces & banquet halls, for all social/ academic/ sports/ entertainment/ cultural/ political/religious and other congregations are allowed with 50% of the capacity subject to adherence of the COVID-19 safety protocols and COVID appropriate behaviour.
4. Hotels & Restaurants shall remain open subject to strict adherence to COVID Appropriate Behaviour.
5. Cinema Halls/Multiplex/Sports Complex/Stadiums/Swimming Pools/Gymnasiums shall remain closed till further order.
6. No langar shall be allowed in religious places/places of worship.
The decision of night curfew is taken after going through the daily count of covid-19 and the deaths due to the COVID-19. The decision is good to reduce or slow down the count of daily corona positive cases. HP Government and the people of HP are appreciating the decision taken by HP Government and hoping for the best results of this Night Curfew.
Up to 50 people are allowed at weddings(Updated):
The rules of the social distance to be followed in all social, political, cultural, sports, etc. ceremonies at open places. Only 200 people will be able to join them. Jan Manch program will not be held in December.
Shops and Transportation:
Curfew now is starting from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, passengers and any other vehicles will not operate and all shops including liquor shops will also be closed.
